Abu Dhabi Airports hosts special needs group

ABU DHABI, December 19, 2015

Abu Dhabi Airports hosted a group of 60 special needs individuals and orphans set to embark upon Umrah pilgrimage on Friday from Abu Dhabi International Airport.

The group is part of the "Zayed in our Hearts" initiative, organized by the Zayed Higher Organization for Humanitarian Care & Special Needs, under the patronage of Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, said a statement from the airport.

It aims to send orphans and special needs individuals on Umrah in the memory of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.

Reaffirming its commitment to corporate social responsibility, Abu Dhabi Airports said it provided exceptional hospitality services and gifts to the guests, and offered terminal 1A as a dedicated facility to finalise their departure procedures.

All the arrangements were made in coordination with relevant agencies at Abu Dhabi International Airport, it added.-TradeArabia News Service
