ADNH announces key appointments

Abu Dhabi National Hotels (ADNH), one of the leading business groups in the UAE, has announced two appointments for key senior positions.
Ahmed Odeh has been appointed head of finance. Odeh brings an extensive leadership experience in the field of finance and audit. Having worked for private and publicly listed companies such as Price Waterhouse Coopers, Manarah for Investment in Development Projects or Abu Dhabi Ship Building, he acquired his expertise in the assurance and business advisory field as well as various other investment sectors. He has also developed specialist advisory competencies for hospitality companies.
He holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration with emphasis on Accounting, while finalising his Doctorate in Business Administration at the UAE University, Abu Dhabi, focusing on the governance of audit firms for SMEs in the UAE. He is also a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) and Certified Master Trainer (CMT).
In his new role, Odeh will coordinate directly the activity of the ADNH finance department as well as of its affiliated business units.
Anil Joseph has been appointed senior manager, procurement. Joseph comes with over 12 years of experience in the procurement field, most of which was acquired in the hospitality industry in organisations based in the UAE.
Undertaking a Master’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain management, Anil also holds a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Purchasing Society in UK, while being a Certified Procurement Professional by the American Purchasing Society.
Prior to joining ADNH, Joseph held the position of regional director – procurement with Millennium hotels, having overseen the entire functions of procurement, supply chain and logistics for 20 properties in the Middle East and Africa region.
In his new role, Joseph will oversee the procurement function for ADNH and its business divisions. – TradeArabia News Service
