RJ...expanding its operations
RJ to operate first flight to Najaf on July 13
AMMAN, July 12, 2015
Royal Jordanian (RJ), the flag carrier of Jordan, will operate its first flight to Najaf tomorrow (July 13), launching a new regular service between Jordan and Iraq.
With this addition to the RJ network, the number of Iraqi destinations will increase to six, including Mosul, which had been suspended since June 2014.
RJ will operate two weekly flights to Najaf, on Mondays and Thursdays. The new route comes in sync with the airline’s strategy to enter new markets in the Arab region.
The service between Najaf and Amman will serve Iraqi passengers transiting though Queen Alia International Airport on their way to destinations beyond Amman, particularly serving Hajj and Umrah pilgrims. – TradeArabia News Service
