Alpha Destination Management unveiled new projects including the Gourmet Bus, I Venture Card and Stars on Board at the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai, UAE, which concluded today (May 7).

It is its first participation after it was rebranded from Alpha Tours, which came after the expansion of its businesses and new projects in the last three years, said a statement.

The rebranding initiative was unveiled during the event, it said.

Ghassan Aridi, chief executive officer, said: “Alpha has been participating in ATM – the world’s third largest travel and tourism trade exhibition -since the past 20 years and achieved a great success.

“Our association with the travel and tourism industry professionals has remained strong and we will continue to maintain that level of association with them through our first participation under the new name.”

To be launched next month, Gourmet Bus is a first of its kind service in the world offering tourists the opportunity to tour the landmarks in Dubai while enjoying five-star international cuisine aboard the moving bus.

The journey will start from Down Town and the tour will cover Burj Khalifa, Palm Jumeirah, Zabeel Palace, Sheikh Zayed Road and Burj Al Arab.

The guests will be served five-star international dinner on board the bus. In front of each seat will be iPad that will provide information to the guests about each attraction during the tour.

Tourists can book the Gourmet Bus tour through the hotels, Alpha offices or through a dedicated website that will be launched.

The I Venture Card will facilitate a tourist to enter more than 20 tourist sites and gives him or her discount of more than 50 per cent on the actual price of the tickets.

Priced at approximately $200, the pre-paid card can be purchased from Dubai Airports and some other outlets. It is the first card of its kind in the Middle East and allows the tourists to enter more than 20 tourist sites like Burj Khalifa, Museums, Aquarium in Atlantis Palm Hotel, Dubai Mall, safari and some restaurants, among others.

A booklet will be provided to the buyer with each card to show the tourist the sites that one can enter with the card which will start functioning from July.  

Stars on Board is a special vacation cruise featuring the best Middle-Eastern stars, performers and entertainers.

In addition to the daily shows by the pool deck, most on-board entertainment is included in the cost of the trip, giving our guests the opportunity to watch all booked artists perform live in both ticketed and general admission shows at the different venues on the ship.

This year, stars featuring include Haifa Wehbi, Ma fi Mitlo show and Kazem Saher. The cruise this year will start from Rome, Barcelona, Marseille, and back to Rome. - TradeArabia News Service
