Dusit International, a Bangkok-based hotel and resort company, has signed two agreements for launch of new properties and a third one to revamp an existing residential property in the UAE.

The Residence will be re-launched in July 2016 as the Dusit Thani Residence Dubai Marina, following an extensive upgrade bringing it in-line with the upper-upscale Dusit Thani brand. Accommodations will range from 75-sq-m one-bedroom to three-bedroom units, in addition to a luxurious Penthouse Suite. Guests will also enjoy a health and fitness centre, swimming pool, steam room, restaurant, waterfront lounge and meeting facilities.

Joining the Residence will be the dusitD2 Tecom Dubai, the first hotel to launch in the Middle East under Dusit’s chic and contemporary dusitD2 brand. A new-build development, the dusitD2 Tecom Dubai will offer 235 guest rooms within the city’s Technology, Electronic, Commerce and Media (Tecom) Free Zone.

This convenient location positions the hotel within easy access to tourist attractions such as Madinat Jumeirah, Palm Jumeirah and the Dubai Marina, whilst still within easy reach via the Dubai Metro of popular shopping centres such as Marina Mall and Mall of the Emirates.

Slated to launch in March 2016, the hotel’s facilities will include two restaurants, a lobby Lounge, fitness centre, swimming pool and spa, as well as an executive lounge and a business centre.

Also scheduled to join the dusitD2 brand family in January 2016 will be the dusitD2 Residence Al Manzel Abu Dhabi. Located in the heart of Abu Dhabi’s commercial district, close to the Corniche and Saadiyat Island, the serviced residence will offer 216 units with a business centre and meeting facilities. Two restaurants, a lobby lounge, health centre, pool and sauna will complete the guest experience.

Dusit International has operated in the Middle East for nearly 15 years, with the launch of the Dusit Thani Dubai hotel on Sheikh Zayed Road in 2001. Since then, the company has established a Dubai regional sales office and will open an additional office in Saudi Arabia in May.
