Australian-based StayWell Hospitality Group has expanded its hotel property management portfolio in the Middle East with the signing of Park Regis Business Bay, to open in Dubai, UAE, next year.

This brings the group’s management portfolio to 35 hotels across Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Indonesia, India, UK and the UAE.

Simon Wan, StayWell Hospitality Group CEO, said the addition of the second Dubai property, joining the operational Park Regis Kris Kin Hotel Dubai, will further cement the group’s commitment to growth in the region and is a step towards the goal of a network of 100 hotels. 

Wan also said the group is in final negotiation of two additional hotels in the region which he hopes to announce shortly.

“When complete, the Park Regis Business Bay will bring the group’s inventory count in Dubai to 594 rooms.” Wan said.

Located near the heart of Dubai in the prestigious Burj District, the new hotel’s facilities will include retail and dining spaces, outdoor swimming pool, gym, sauna, spa, high speed internet access, high IT infrastructure security and a fully equipped business centre.

Guests will also have access to a concierge service, valet parking and in-room servicing.

Construction for Park Regis Business Bay is due for completion late 2015. The hotel is managed by GCC Bin Laden Contracting Group is being developed by Park Lane Associates. – TradeArabia News Service
