Bahrain’s national carrier Gulf Air has announced a collaboration with Rail & Fly, allowing complimentary travel to and from Frankfurt Airport and 15 German destinations via Deutsche Bahn German railway - throughout the year.

The airline said passengers can now get Rail & Fly tickets when booking flight tickets on gulfair.com, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

Passengers will get free two-way access to select destinations in Germany including Berlin, Munich, Stuttgart and Dusseldorf.

The airline's acting chief commercial officer Ahmed Janahi said that for the remainder of the year, passengers would get complimentary onward domestic travel, via Deutsche Bahn, when booking and flying with Gulf Air to Frankfurt International Airport.

“We are delighted to enhance movement across Germany whether it be for business or tourism in line with our mission to facilitate travel across our network.

“This offer follows our recent announcement of enhanced, and complimentary, onwards connectivity beyond Athens to an additional 14 destinations across Greece,” he said. - TradeArabia News Service
