Air Seychelles, the national airline of the Republic of Seychelles, has announced an expansion of its codeshare agreement with UAE’s Etihad Airways for travel to Mumbai, the gateway to India.                                                                   

Under this agreement, Air Seychelles will put its HM flight code on 21 weekly Etihad Airways flights between Mumbai and Abu Dhabi that connect onto its services between Abu Dhabi and Seychelles.

These codeshare flights will complement Air Seychelles’ existing direct flights between Mumbai and Seychelles, which were launched in December 2014.

Manoj Papa, Air Seychelles chief executive officer, said: “We are excited to enhance our connectivity to Mumbai through this expanded codeshare, which builds on our thrice-weekly direct service to this metropolitan city.”                                            

“We will continue to work closely with Etihad Airways in order to strengthen our network and look forward to driving more tourism traffic from the Indian Subcontinent to and through Seychelles,” he said. – TradeArabia News Service
