Ananta receives top honour at BBC Good Food Awards

DUBAI, February 1, 2015

Leading Indian restaurant Ananta, at The Oberoi in Dubai, UAE, was awarded the ‘Best Indian Restaurant- Fine Dining’ at the BBC Good Food Awards 2014 held last month in the emirate.

The coveted awards are chosen by the readers of BBC Good Food Middle East and food enthusiasts, across a variety of categories including fine dining and casual restaurants, bars and cafes.

The Oberoi, Dubai is part of the internationally famed Oberoi Group and represents its first property in the UAE, having successfully opened in June 2013. The title is the latest addition to the hotel’s increasingly expanding collection of awards including; the Middle East’s Leading Luxury City Hotel at the World Travel Awards; and Best New Business Hotel by the readers of Business Traveller Middle East, among others.

Ananta welcomes diners on a gastronomic journey through India’s 28 states. Refreshed with courtyard views and dramatic with crimson furnishings and crisp white linen tables, Ananta is dominated by a magnificent show kitchen where guests can watch masterchefs hand craft Indian delicacies in traditional coal-fired clay ovens.

Ananta is open seven days a week for dinner from 7:00 pm to 11:30 pm and for lunch on Fridays from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. – TradeArabia News Service
