InterContinental Regency Bahrain has named Jan Ifcic as the area general manager, with immediate effect.

Michael Koth, the outgoing regional general manager, made the announcement during a reception recently at the Al Rifaa Ballroom in the hotel, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

With 22 years of experience, Jan Ifcic brings a wealth of industry knowledge in the luxury hotel segment.

His most recent position was general manager at InterContinental Jordan.

He is a graduate of Thames Valley University in London and has gone through the IHG Senior Leadership Programme and other various leadership developments.

With the change of portfolio, Koth has been appointed as director of operations for Levant (Jordan and Lebanon) and general manager of InterContinental Jordan.

Koth will oversee all hotel operations in Jordan and Lebanon. - TradeArabia News Service
