Gulf Air-BKIC in key Falconflyer miles tie-up

MANAMA, December 9, 2014

Bahrain’s national carrier Gulf Air has announced a key partnership with Bahrain Kuwait Insurance Company (BKIC).

It will give the insurance provider's customers the opportunity to earn Gulf Air Falconflyer miles when purchasing any of BKIC's home, annual travel and 'Motor Gold+' and 'Platinum+' insurance policies, said a report in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

This is a further enhancement of the airline's portfolio of corporate accounts.

During the signing ceremony held at Gulf Air's head office in Muharraq, the national carrier's acting chief executive Maher Al Musallam said the airline's first insurance-provider partnership broadens its Falconflyer partner base and allows members to earn free miles from a wider array of services.

BKIC chief executive Ebrahim Al Rayes said through the partnership, the company was wanting to offer its customers value-added benefits by giving them access to services offered under the Falconflyer programme.

He said the company's customers would get additional miles. - TradeArabia News Service
