Dubai to host Arab tourism forum
DUBAI, October 20, 2014
Leading players from the global tourism industry will be in Dubai, UAE, for the 16th International Forum on Arab Tourism, which kicks off on October 22.
The two-day event, being organised by the Arab International Company at the JW Marriott Hotel Dubai, will see the showcase of new tourism products and exchange of information.
A large number of companies specialising in Haj and Umrah services from across the region will be at the event besides a high-level delegation of the Egyptian Tourism Authority.
The forum will also see leading players from the GCC region, Egypt, India, Pakistan, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh showcasing their innovative tourism products, stated Muna Galal, the CEO of Arab International Company.
The event is aimed at showcasing the best of Arab tourism products and attracting larger number of visitors both local and international, thus giving these tour operators a chance to display their products and programs, she stated.
The forum will highlight the latest in both the services and tourism sectors and promote investments in Arab tourism sector.
Arab environmental tourism will also be in spotlight at the two-day event, she added.
Leading tour operators, hotels, airlines, insurance companies, overland transport companies, Saudi tourism agencies and companies specialising in Hajj and Umrah services will attend the event.-TradeArabia News Service
