Emirates to screen Arab Idol on flights

DUBAI, October 13, 2014

Dubai-based Emirates is aiming to enhance its passengers’ flying experience with the screening of the Arab Idol season 3 on its ice digital widescreen on-board its A380 and Boeing 777 aircraft.

Arab Idol, the reality music show watched by Arab audiences, is Emirates’ latest sponsorship.

A special team will update ice the day after the live show so that the latest episodes will always be available on board, ensuring that fans will not miss out on the progress of their favourite programme.

“By offering compelling and current content on our ice system, Emirates connects fans with their passion for music. We work hard to provide a wide variety of entertainment choices and the best viewing experience for our passengers,” said Sheikh Majid Al Mualla, Emirates’ divisional senior vice president, commercial operations centre.

Offering over 1,800 channels of entertainment and information, music plays a key part of the Emirates’ in-flight experience, the airline said – TradeArabia News Service
