Gulf Air wins best inflight publication award in US

MANAMA, September 25, 2014

Gulf Air was honoured at this year's Airline Passenger Experience Association (APEX) Passenger Choice Awards in California, US, winning the John White Publication Award for best inflight publication.

"We are pleased to have the Gulf Air experience recognised by the Passenger Choice Awards," Gulf Air acting chief commercial officer Ahmed Janahi said in the Gulf Daily News (GDN), our sister publication.

"We are constantly striving to deliver excellence to our passengers by enhancing a broad spectrum of deliverables from our convenient flight schedules, multiple daily regional flights and variety of products and services both on the ground and onboard."

Receiving the award on behalf of the airline, Gulf Air senior manager inflight and product, Mohamad El Assaad said winning this award is a reflection of Gulf Air's ongoing commitment to delivering excellence in our onboard products and services.

"The Gulf Air inflight publication, GulfLife, is a tool to help enhance our passengers' onboard comfort, giving them information about various destinations across our network, in addition to updates about our airline - thereby further meeting passenger needs while at 30,000ft."

The annual Passenger Choice Awards have rapidly distinguished themselves as the industry's foremost honour, as they represent the opinion of passengers. Comprising 13 individual categories, the Passenger Choice Awards were created by APEX to give the flying public a voice to recognise airline excellence and innovation in the passenger experience. - TradeArabia News Service
