WTC Abu Dhabi partners with Etihad loyalty program

The World Trade Centre (WTC), developed by Aldar Properties, has announced its partnership with Etihad Airways’ award-winning loyalty program, ‘Etihad Guest’, enabling shoppers in Abu Dhabi to earn three ‘Etihad Guest Miles’ for each dirham spent at the mall.

Etihad Guest members can shop at the WTC Mall in Abu Dhabi, which is home to 160 shops, over 20 dining outlets, a cinema and the WTC Souk, the mall said.

WTC Mall shoppers can easily redeem Etihad Guest miles for a vacation, a gift from the online reward shop - and even donate them to charitable organisations. Etihad Guest members can also convert their miles to cash to spend at the WTC Mall with PointsPay, it said.

PointsPay is an innovative real-time transaction solution that gives Etihad Guest members unlimited freedom to convert their miles into currency to ‘spend’ in-store or online at over 32 million outlets worldwide. This facility complements the Etihad Guest online reward shop, where products can be ordered using any combination of miles and cash, and delivered to the member’s chosen address anywhere in the world, a statement said.

With this major partnership with Etihad Guest, the WTC continues to focus on adding to its already dynamic offering by providing a unique retail experience for both residents and tourists alike, it said.
