Starwood unveils special Ramadan offer

Manama, July 3, 2014

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has launched a special offer for members of its Starwood Preferred Guest (SPG) loyalty programme.

SPG members will receive up to 30 per cent discount on Iftar or Suhoor at 60 participating hotels in 19 countries across the Middle East, Africa and the Indian Ocean including Turkey, said a statement.

The members will also earn Starpoints which can be redeemed for free nights, room upgrades and flights, or use the reward points to bid for one-of-a-kind experience through SPG Moments, it said.

Steven Taylor, vice president marketing EMEA, said: “The holy month of Ramadan allows us to offer our SPG members meaningful benefits and enjoyable dining experiences with loved ones. Combining this promotion with the opportunity to earn Starpoints without booking into a hotel means our members can benefit from SPG even when they are not actively travelling.”

The offer will be available in 60 Starwood hotels in Algeria, Bahrain, Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Mauritius, Morocco, Nigeria, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Seychelles, South Africa, Tunisia, Turkey, Uganda and UAE. - TradeArabia News Service
