Ramada names new marketing director for UAE

Ramada hotel group has appointed Angela Christodoulopoulou as the new director of sales and marketing for Ramada Plaza Jumeirah Beach Residence and Ramada Sharjah.
Part of Wyndham Hotel Group, Ramada is a global chain of nearly 830 midscale and upscale hotels.
Christodoulopoulou brings in 20 years of experience in the field of hospitality. Prior to this, she served as director of sales and marketing for Park Hyatt Dubai.
Before coming to the UAE, she was with Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki in Greece. She also held positions in Hyatt Carlton Tower and Lowndes Hyatt Hotel in London, and was part of the opening team of Eurodisney Resort in Paris.
In her new role, Christodoulopoulou will lead the sales and marketing team in developing strategies directed towards achieving set sales targets and maximising revenue for both properties.
She will also strengthen the existing ties with hotels’ key partners and generate leads for new business deals, said the hospitality group in a statement.

Ramada Plaza JBR boasts of 356 rooms, ranging from sleek and oversized studios to two, three and four-bedroom apartments, loft suites and penthouses. The hotel also offers exceptional dining experiences, as well as recreational facilities and state-of-the-art meeting rooms, said the statement.
Located just opposite the Sahara Centre, Ramada Sharjah is a 245-suite deluxe hotel apartment that offers an award-winning travel experience.
