Al Basel Group opens new travel agency

Dubai, June 4, 2014

Al Basel Group of Companies, a leading UAE-based business conglomerate, has announced plans to open a new travel agency, Tuwaiq, to help address the travel demands and requirements of both local and international tourists in Dubai.

The new agency, which will be located in Dubai World Central (DWC), is expected to reinforce Al Basel’s presence as a leading player in the region’s thriving tourism industry, said a statement.

According to Al Basel senior executives, the move proves to be both timely and strategic as the company witnessed a 25 to 35 per cent increase in business, stemming from consultation services rendered to high-end luxury resorts, hotels and high-profile clients.

Banking on the group’s long years of experience in the travel and tourism industry, the new travel agency is looking to target the region’s middle and upper class segments from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, Turkey and Egypt. The agency will be offering key services like consultancy, booking, and mentoring.

“All roads lead to the Middle East as more and more tourists are opting to visit the region and see the many tourist attractions that we have to offer. The UAE’s recent win to host Expo 2020 has also acted like a catalyst that brings the UAE and the rest of the region in the spotlight, which is expected to drive in a large influx of visitors. This just means more business for our hotels, resorts and airports. With this in mind, we have opened Tuwaiq, to help these visitors with their travel needs and requirements. The new office will be staffed with world class tourism professionals who will always be on hand to serve the needs of our clients,” said Basel Al Kasem, founder, Al Basel Group.  - TradeArabia News Service
