IHG names senior VP of Global Brands

InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) has announced the recent appointment of Jayne O’Brien to the position of senior vice president of Global Brands, effective March 24.
O’Brien will be responsible for overseeing brand vision and strategy across IHG’s global portfolio of nine brands.
During her 18-year career at British Airways, O’Brien served in a number of senior brand marketing and commercial roles.
Prior to joining IHG, O’Brien served as chief marketing officer for Dubai Properties Group, a leading master developer of destinations and districts across Dubai. There she was responsible for all group marketing across the group, including brand management, public relations and customer relations.
Previous to moving to Dubai, O’Brien was the chief marketing officer at the Regus Group, the world’s largest workplace solutions provider.

O’Brien graduated from London University with a degree in Serbo-Croat with Eastern European studies. She also spent time at Zagreb University, Croatia studying Croatian, as well as attending Ashridge Management College and Harvard Business School. – TradeArabia News Service
