Hilton opens first DoubleTree hotel in Saudi

Hilton Worldwide has opened its DoubleTree by Hilton Dhahran at Al Khobar in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
The153-room conversion property is the first DoubleTree by Hilton branded hotel to open in the kingdom, said a statement.
John Greenleaf, global head, DoubleTree by Hilton, said: “The introduction of DoubleTree by Hilton to Saudi Arabia demonstrates the brand’s global recognition and positive growth.”
“One of Hilton Worldwide’s full-service, upscale brands, DoubleTree by Hilton caters to both business and leisure travelers by focusing on a warm, welcoming guest service culture built around the idea of Create a Rewarding Experience (CARE), not only for our guests, but also for our employees and for the communities in which we serve,” he said.
The hotel features a range of amenities including a large ballroom, four flexible meeting rooms, a 24-hour business centre, a 24-hour fitness centre, and scheduled later this year, a fully renovated fitness centre, indoor swimming pool and spa area, including steam room and sauna.
Guests can dine in one of the hotel’s three restaurants: Al Waha, an all-day dining restaurant serving a selection of international cuisine; Rasoi, which serves an array of Indian specialties; and the Al Maha Café, which serves coffee and pastry treats. - TradeArabia News Service
