Amari launches Arabic booking site

Dubai, November 26, 2013

Amari, a part of the ONYX portfolio of hospitality brands in Asia, has launched an online booking site in Arabic.

The launch is aimed at Arabic-speaking guests, who can now make their own reservations directly and take advantage of the vast number of special packages highlighted on the Amari website, said a statement.

Amari properties have seen strong popularity among the Arabian Gulf countries, with a 10 per cent increase in room bookings up to September from Gulf-based travellers, as compared to the same period last year, it said.

Chetan Patel, vice president, Strategic Marketing and E-Commerce, ONYX Hospitality Group, said: “The Middle East remains a region of continued growing importance and our Amari hospitality brand, both in terms of a growing guest and client base, as well as for investment and property development.

“With our initial Middle East Amari property having opened in Doha in January, we are now well established and at home in the region. The launch of an Arabic online booking site was the next logical step for further integration, outreach and expansion.” - TradeArabia News Service
