Leading Asian hospitality group Dusit International has appointed Ahmed Talaat as the director of sales to its Dubai-based Middle East and Africa regional sales office team.

Talaat will assist the team in fostering relationships with key clients and will report to Sameh Shawkat, regional director of sales and marketing – Middle East and Africa, said a statement.

He joins Dusit from his most recent post at Six Senses Zighy Bay, Oman, as the assistant director of sales. Previous positions include assistant director of global sales with Hyatt Worldwide and Mövenpick Hotels and Resorts, it said.
