Beirut, April 9, 2013

Team members from Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace and Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand recently celebrated Mother’s Day by visiting elderly ladies at a retirement home in the city.

The staff arrived at Ain El Remmene laden with gifts and surprised and the residents who no longer had family living nearby offering a range of special personalised care packages including bathrobes, scarves and other pampering items as well as snacks and refreshments.

Kasper Wigen, marketing & communications manager, Hilton Beirut Habtoor Grand and Hilton Beirut Metropolitan Palace, said: “We are firmly committed to our local city community and Mother’s Day was a perfect opportunity for our team members to honour mothers and spread a little cheer to those less fortunate.”

The community initiative was led by the hotel’s blue energy committee, a group of team members found in every Hilton hotel with the purpose of uniting the hotel’s team members by delivering on the promise “to ensure every guest feels cared for, valued, and respected.”

Its premier responsibility is to maintain a service culture that supports the hotel team’s ability to live the Hilton values – deliver, promise, and celebrate the Hilton brand’s stories which focuses on the experiences it creates for its guests, team members, and communities. – TradeArabia News Service
