Al Bayader relocates facility in Muscat
Dubai, June 25, 2012
Al Bayader International, a leading provider of food packaging solutions, has moved its facilities to a bigger location in Muscat.
Located on Al Kuwair 33 along Sultan Qaboos Street, the new Al Bayader facility is now three times bigger and includes a 300 sq m showroom and 2500 sq m warehouse.
Its team of 50-strong staff is headed by its branch manager Sami Hamdan.
“Over the years, the Sultanate of Oman has seen an exponential increase in the company’s product portfolio,” said Nidal Haddad, CEO, Al Bayader.
“With a burgeoning economy fuelled by a young, educated and informed population, Oman is a market that cannot be ignored due to a consumer base that is extremely aware of their needs when it comes to disposable food product and food service solutions. As such, this presents a potential revenue stream that is even at par with other more established markets in the region.
“We identified such business opportunity in Oman years ago which is why we decided to set up operations in Muscat back in 2005,” he added.
“Since then, our business in Oman has grown in leaps and bounds and now encompasses among others a high-tech logistics facility with cutting edge software and internationally sourced stacking and palletising equipment, a modern office and showroom to showcase the company’s diverse range of product solutions, and a highly experienced team.
“The combination of these ingredients enables the branch to function independently, giving it the leverage to meet any demand obligations from potential customers,” Haddad continued.
“Al Bayader International’s extensive product range in this market has always been unrivalled.
“This is evidenced by our 10 per cent increase in annual turnover. Thus, we see the need to become more self-sufficient, timely and cost-efficient. Undoubtedly, the opening of this new and bigger facility gives us this edge,” he concluded. – TradeArabia News Service
