The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) will launch 'The Amazing Tastes of Thailand Fest 2012' set to be held from June 8 to July 7 at 13 participating restaurants across the UAE.

Throughout the month-long Thai Food Festival diners at the participating restaurants will have the opportunity to win a number of exciting prizes including a trip to Bangkok with Thai Airways, a statement from TAT said.

For every Dh200 ($54.46) spent at a participating restaurant, diners will automatically enter a prize draw with a chance to win a three-night stay at the Dusit Thani, Bangkok, a half-day cooking class and dinner for two at the hotel's signature restaurant, Benjarong.

Winners will be announced on July 15 at www.tourismthailand-middleast.org, the statement said.

Wisoot Buachoom, director for the Middle East, TAT, said: 'The Amazing Taste of Thailand Food Festival 2012 is a great opportunity for UAE residents and visitors to enjoy world-renowned Thai cuisine as well as win lots of prizes.”

All 13 participated restaurants will showcase their tastiest special dishes at the launching event on June 2, at Dusit Thani Dubai. These include Benjarong, Blue Elephant, Pai Thai, Sukhothai, Spice Emporium, Ban Khun Mae, The Kitchen of Thai, Shang Thai, Thai Chi, The Royal Buddha, Chimes, The Thai Kitchen in Dubai and Taste Restaurant in Fujairah. – TradeArabia News Service
