Tetra Pak unveils key packaging solutions

Tetra Pak, a global leader in food processing and packaging solutions, showcased its new packaging innovations at the second edition of Arab Beverages Conference and Exhibition 2012 (ABCE) held recently in Jeddah.
ABCE was organised by the Arab Federation for Food Industries, Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and the Arab Beverages Association chaired by Monther T. Al Harthi at the Al Qasr Ballroom in Hilton Hotel.
The two-day event brought together the chamber of commerce, Industry of Agriculture for Arab Countries, relevant Arab Ministries, Industrial and Agricultural organisations, companies specialised in beverages, and packaging and packing companies.
Tetra Pak, which has a major presence in the region, boasts of a production facility in Jeddah and sales and technical offices in the main GCC countries.
To mark its premier attendance of ABCE, Tetra Pak unveiled 25 new innovative products from across the globe besides key lectures by its experts.
Tetra Pak’s environment manager Mohamed Angawi addressed major topics related to the company's recycling experiences in the Middle East.
Tetra Pak’s director of processing, Sergey Volkov shed light on the topic of ‘Innovative processing solutions for the beverage industry,’ including the company’s latest innovations in the processing industry, and how these solutions improve operational efficiency and enable cost savings.
Commenting on the participation, Riccardo Castagnetti, marketing manager of Tetra Pak Arabia, said, "ABCE leads the growth in development of the region’s beverage industry. It is a great privilege for Tetra Pak to be part of such an important event."
