Cristal announces ME expansion plans

Cristal Hotels and Resorts has announced its extensive expansion plan for the region, including three new hotel openings in summer.

This in addition to its two operating hotels in Abu Dhabi - Cristal Abu Dhabi and Cristal Salam Hotel - and the recently opened branch offices in Qatar and Lebanon, a statement from a hotel official said.  

Cristal Grand Hotel Kadri situated in Zahle is one of the most historic landmark hotels in Lebanon and 45km from the capital Beirut. 

The historical importance of the hotel goes back to the early 1914’s  and is famous for hosting some of the world's greatest leaders and stars. It overlooks the main river and spring of the city Al Berdawni which has been praised by poets and writers from different countries, it said.

The hotel offers 83 rooms and suites with on-suite bathrooms, satellite TV, mini bar, laundry service, 24-hour room service and wifi.

It also has a restaurant, bar, conference rooms with a capacity of 1,000 guests, business centre, state-of-the-art gymnasium, outdoor swimming pool, spa, and child care centre with a children’s playground.

The Cristal Itsandra Beach Hotel in Comoros Island is situated on a rocky outcrop on a beach with beautiful views over the bay of Itsandra and the Indian Ocean.

This four-star hotel reflects the spirit of the archipelago and is divided into three themes emblematic: vanilla, ylang-ylang and nutmeg.  It offers 36 rooms and chalets, two restaurants, three bars, conference rooms, business centre, health club, private beach and soon-to-open Cristal Spa.

Lodges are also available for rent offering five master bedrooms, open patio with private pool and beach in front of the Indian Ocean, the statement said.

Cristal Canyon Hotel in Iraq, is located in the modern city centre of Erbil which is 10 minutes away from Erbil International Airport. It has mountain scenery and ancient archeological sites including bazaars and museums.

The hotel offers 93 rooms and suites, restaurant, bar, gymnasium with an indoor running track, Cristal Spa, ballroom, three meeting rooms, executive lounge and business centre.
