Dubai-based Mourjan Marinas IGY, the manager of luxury marinas and yachting lifestyle destinations, said it has signed an agreement to manage the Four Seasons Hotel Doha marina in Qatar.

The Four Seasons Hotel marina berths yachts up to 35 metres and will be part of the new Nobu restaurant development, which anchors the northern end of the city’s Corniche.

Mourjan Marinas IGY said as per the marina management agreement with the luxury hotel, it will fully manage the stunning 112 berth floating marina located on the shores of Doha’s West Bay.

The marina, which is only 15 minutes from Doha Airport, offers boaters easy access to the Doha Corniche and members can enjoy membership to the Hotel facilities.

The marina also offers a boat ramp, round the clock security, Dockmaster assistance, along with seven-day per week fuel service for both diesel and petrol.

The partnership will see Mourjan Marinas IGY bring its award-winning management expertise to the marina with a focus on further enhancing the experience for local and international boaters, said a senior official.

Wayne Shepherd, the regional operations manager Middle East, Mourjan Marinas IGY, who brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, has permanently relocated to Qatar in order to focus on the Qatar marina operations.

Mourjan Marinas IGY is also undertaking the full responsibility for design, construction and operation of all marinas in Doha’s Lusail City, having welcomed the first yacht into Lusail Marina last year.

Another strategic partnership announced last year, was the management of the branding, sales and marketing of the high-end Port Tarraco Marina in north eastern Spain.
