Top India chef opens restaurant in Bahrain

India-based celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor launched his The Yellow Chilli restaurant in Bahrain, marking the franchise’s first expansion overseas.
Considered to be the best spot to enjoy casual dining with deliciously different Indian food, Kapoor’s The Yellow Chilli brand has been creating waves in 14 cities across India, said a statement.
The Yellow Chilli is a casual dining experience with a five-star feel, said SunCity Ventures, who announced its latest food undertaking.

Notably the most celebrated face of Indian cuisine today, Sanjeev Kapoor has been sharing his love for Indian cuisine with his popular cookery show Khana Khazana for the past 18 years. This chef extraordinaire has several best-selling cookbooks, culinary awards, his own brand of cookware and numerous food products to his name. Sanjeev Kapoor is pioneer of FOODFOOD, SE Asia’s first 24 X 7 TV channel.
His brands of restaurants like The Yellow Chilli, Khazana, Options, Signature, Sura Vie, Pin Yin Café, The Gold Leaf Banquets have created indelible impressions on many discerning palates, a statement said.
The Yellow Chilli features a variety of North Indian specialties, including the celebrity chef’s signature dishes.
