Dusit Thani Dubai, a five-star hotel in the business district of Dubai, has appointed Kishore Sathar as director of revenue management.

In his new role Sathar will oversee all the processes associated with demand, revenue, forecasting, inventory management and opportunity analysis and he will be accountable for the pricing, positioning and inventory management of rooms as well as the food and beverage segmentation.

Originally from Goa, India, Sathar was most recently with Taj Palace Hotel Dubai where he held the position of revenue manager. During his tenure there he successfully grew the FIT production by 40 per cent.

Before his move in 2008 to join One to One Hotels in Abu Dhabi as revenue manager, Kishore was the cluster reservations manager for the Taj Holiday Village in Goa.
