Hospitality industry 'bouncing back'

Leading global experts said the hospitality industry was bouncing back and had already started showing positive signs of improvement.

They were speaking at an exclusive hospitality networking event held in Dubai for UAE-based general managers and heads of HR, Finance and training sections.

Hozpitality Group, a subsidiary of Dubai-based VR Online Group, hosted the event under the theme - 'UAE Hospitality- the way forward' at the Taj Palace Hotel Dubai.

Ibrahim Yaqoot, executive director, DTCM was the chief guest and key note speaker at the event.

The other guest speakers included Jumeirah Restaurants MD Phil Broad, Taj Palace Hotel (Dubai) general manager Andreas Mueller, Finance director Ahmed Badawy and HR director Kaustav Sen.

Over 130 distinguished hospitality professionals based in UAE attended the event making the Taj Palace Hotel a star host of the evening, said Raj Bhatt, director of Hozpitality group.

'We are confident that together we will make Hozpitality the most preferred global hospitality brand, he noted.
 
'Through Hozpitalityplus Events we have successfully conducted four networking events for UAE hospitality industry,' said Bhatt.

'The GM and HR heads event at the Grand Hyatt Dubai and the F&B heads event at the Pullman Hotel Dubai Mall of the Emirates and Sales and marketing heads event at the Gloria Hotel, Dubai were very successful,' he added.

Hozpitality group also announced plans to launch its new website for the North American market in Canada in the next 6-8 weeks.

'The new website will be launched in Canada and we will replicate, in Canada, what we have done in the Middle East,' Bhatt added.-TradeArabia News Service
