Alwaleed gets top tourism award

Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal Bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, chairman of Kingdom Holding Company (KHC), was awarded the 'Best influential figure in ME tourism' honour as part of the World Travel Award held this year.
The award was in recognition for his contributions to the travel and tourism sector and through his support to employ Saudi Nationals, as well as his international investments that have contributed in creating many job opportunities around the world.
Prince Alwaleed has investments in five hotel management companies, through KHC, managing more than 300 hotels around the world, which are Four Seasons Resorts and Hotels, Fairmont Hotels and Resorts, Hotels and Resorts Raffles Movenpick Hotels & Resorts and Swissotel.
Dr Nahla Al Anbar, private executive assistant to Alwaleed received the award on his behalf at the ceremony held in Dubai.
In addition, the Mecca Raffles Hotel was awarded the best luxury hotel in the Middle East, and the Mecca Fairmont Hotel Fairmont and clock was awarded the best new hotel in the Middle East.-TradeArabia News Service
