Nasair showcases at Riyadh event

Riyadh, April 4, 2011

Nasair, the Saudi Arabia-based low fare carrier airline, showcased its newly expanded international reach at a major travel and tourism event in Riyadh.

A group of Nasair team members committed themselves to greeting thousands of visitors, offering them gifts and information on the how-to’s of Nasair’s operations at the fourth annual Saudi Travel& Tourism Investment Market (STTIM).

Nasair now operates 21 international destinations from Riyadh, Jeddah and Dammam, with the new route map indicating growth that focuses on density and efficiency rather than simple expansion, a statement said.

Recently, Nasair placed over half a million of its lowest fares on sale for travel through to October, it added.

During its recent SAR11 promotion over 20,000 passengers travelled at its lowest ever fare, with a 2300 per cent increase in the number of passengers booking at least eight weeks in advance of travel, according to the statement.

“Our team here at Nasair is proud of the progress we’re making,” said Turki Al Jawini, director of sales.

“It was an honour to be a part of STTIM and be able to share information with peers and people from around the region about our new routes and how we have truly committed ourselves to being the definitive smart choice for those travelling to and from Saudi Arabia,” he added. – TradeArabia News Service
