Education event to feature at DEAL
Dubai, March 24, 2011
A two-day programme of interactive sessions that will educate market on new products and safety issues will feature at the upcoming 17th edition of Dubai Entertainment, Amusement and Leisure (DEAL) exhibition.
Organised by ALES UK – the Association of Amusement Leisure Equipment Suppliers – the two-day educational event will include keynote speeches, panel discussions and audience participation forums.
“The seminar programme offers education, training and knowledge from industry experts that are of benefit not only to those already operating or have an involvement in the industry but especially to those considering entering the business,” said Gerry Robinson, secretary of ALES-UK.
“This year, ALES-UK has included several new items, including a panel of Middle East operators offering opinions and answering question about the future direction of the industry and another discussing the pros and cons of the indoor bowling centre.”
“Other new items deal with the safety of inflatable products, new games coming into the market place, and marketing and sponsorships,” Robinson added.
Some of the Middle East’s best known amusement industry operators, suppliers and consultants will come together to offer their opinions on what is happening in the region, what the future holds and many other issues relating to family entertainment centres (FECs) and the amusement industry in general.
Another session will cover product quality, storage, installation, fans, operation and safety precautions, highlighting the responsibilities that operators have to themselves and their customers when using this type of equipment.
“DEAL has always played an important role in the development of the region’s amusement industry and this year’s seminar session proves no different, addressing pertinent topics for discussion designed to unite the industry,” said Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, chairman of International Expo-Consults (IEC), organiser of DEAL.
More than 200 exhibitors from 30 countries are expected to participate in DEAL 2011, which will take place from April 4 to 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. – TradeArabia News Service
