Gulf Air joins hands with inJAz Bahrain

Bahrain's national carrier Gulf Air has joined hands with inJAz Bahrain, a non-profit organization, to support its efforts towards educating and preparing young Bahrainis to succeed in a global economy.
Following the recent visit by Shaikha Hessa bint Khalifa Al Khalifa, the executive director of inJAz Bahrain, to Gulf Air Headquarters, the national carrier has come forward to work actively with inJAz Bahrain by sharing its expertise and experience through a series of economic-based programmes.
Under the initiative, a team of experienced staff members from different sections of Gulf Air have offered to work as volunteers and deliver a series of programmes implemented by inJAz Bahrain to Bahraini youth, said a Gulf Air statement.
Gulf Air has also been invited to be on the board of directors of inJAz Bahrain, it stated.
Gulf Air chief executive officer Samer Majali, who will represent the airline at the inJAz Bahrain Board, said, “As the national carrier, one of our prime goals is to strengthen the knowledge and skills of young Bahrainis by supporting organizations created for this purpose.”
“We are already working closely with Tamkeen and now, by joining hands with inJAz Bahrain, we will take this national objective forward. We are glad that our staff will be playing a key part in creating a new generation of professionals and entrepreneurs by sharing their knowledge, experience and expertise.”
Expressing her pleasure to see Gulf Air join inJAz Bahrain’s effort in educating the youth, Shaikha Hessa said, 'We are very pleased with Gulf Air’s willingness to extend support to inJAz Bahrain and be an active player of the organization’s mission.'
'Since inJAz Bahrain’s inception in 2005, we have been hoping to bring Gulf Air on board so that inJAz Bahrain’s programmes are enriched with knowledge and expertise of the airline business,' she added.-TradeArabia News Service
