Kanoo Travel to promote packages at Dubai show

Kanoo Travel, the largest travel agency in the Middle East, has announced that it is participating in the Business Travel Show (BTS) 2010 in Dubai.

The company plans to showcase its enhanced corporate travel solutions to its corporate customers as well as introduce global travel management services along with its international partner American Express Travel Services.

Kanoo Travel plans to use the event as a platform to demonstrate the features and benefits of its newly-deployed technologies and show how customers will be able to save time and money by using the state-of-the-art self-booking tools and online travel management solutions.

'We are happy to participate in BTS once again this year. It gives us an opportunity to meet our trade partners, customers and airline partners at a single venue,' said Kanoo Travel executive general manager Abdulla Abu Khamseen.

'At the show this year, we want to highlight our strengthened relationship with American Express in the Mena region and demonstrate our unique service proposition to the corporate travel buyers of this region.

'We also plan to showcase our newly-deployed technology and go green initiatives at the event,' he said.

'Our recent investments to enhance our travel technology, improve efficiency levels and develop the skill levels of our associates are some of the initiatives we have taken in this regard,' said Abu Khamseen.

Kanoo Travel plans to help its customers go green by offering paperless procurement tools and carbon emission calculators.

Through its participation at BTS 2010, to be held on October 25 and 26 at the Madinat Arena in Dubai, Kanoo Travel will also enhance its services by offering a 24-hour Emergency Travel Service desk.-TradeArabia News Service
