Global Tourism Club unveils B2B travel portal

Bahrain-based Global Tourism Club (GTC) recently launched a B2B travel portal called GTC 360 Travel Bazaar.

“The website went live just before the Arabian Travel Market earlier in the month and we received a very enthusiastic response at the exhibition, from not only travel trade professionals who visited the exhibition but also several leading hospitality brands and destination brands,” said Mueen Abbas, manager, GTC 360 Travel Bazaar.

GTC 360 Travel Bazaar will not only provide online business transactions, but also keep both, buyers and suppliers abreast with the latest consumer trends, spending patterns as well as topical destinations, that will enable buyers to purchase better packages and suppliers to customise their offers.

“Our business strategy is to move away from brick to click. Our expertise in both, online travel portals as well as our network of buyers and suppliers make it ideal for us to pioneer and capture emerging demands for niche travel requirements.”

“The four portals to be launched soon will be dedicated to sports orientated travel, religious travel, inbound travel to the Middle East and one specifically dedicated to Arab travellers, tailored to their requirements,” he added.

GTC had earlier launched its destination marketing division, called GTC 360 Destination Marketing in February 2010, as a part of its organic growth strategy.
