Lufthansa pilots strike suspended

Lufthansa has confirmd that the strike of the German pilots' union Vereinigung Cockpit (VC) is suspended.
The parties agreed to return to the negotiating table in order to resolve the conflict.
Presently, the airline's special flight schedule implemented to minimise negative effects to its passengers by the pilots' strike, will continue to be the basis for flight operations on February 23.
Starting February 24, Lufthansa will gradually return to its normal flight schedule. Returning to normal operations completely will take a few days. The special flight schedule can be accessed at www.lufthansa.com, said a statement.-TradeArabia News Service
