Waterpark ladies night success
Bahrain, May 11, 2009
One of Bahrain’s major waterparks played host to hundreds of female guests during the first two nights of its Ladies Nights of the 2009 season.
The Lost Paradise of Dilmun (LPOD) entertained more than 2000 female guests and boys 10 years and under, who enjoyed a fun filled evening with rides, slides and relaxation by the largest wave pool in the Middle East while enjoying LPOD’s resident DJ who played some of their favourite tunes.
"We are very excited to have so many guests enjoying their time here at the Water Park during Ladies Night,” said Paul Blunt, general manager of LPOD.
“This year we have introduced a resident female DJ who will be entertaining our guests every Thursday evening. With our all female staff, the guests experience a new level of comfort which allows them to swim and enjoy the many fantastic rides and slides LPOD has to offer while knowing that they are safe.”
Leila Khonji-Riffa, one of the many guests who attended Ladies Night said: “Having Ladies Night every Thursday until the end of season is an amazing move from the park. The day they have chosen is also very convenient for me and especially my friends, who come from Saudi Arabia.”
Eman Jahromi, another guest at Ladies Night said: “I love the idea of Ladies Night. It is one of the best things the park has done. I travel all the way from Muharraq to come to the park and enjoy my time in comfort with all my friends.”
Ladies Night which is held every Thursday from 6 pm until midnight, costs guests over 1.2 mt in height BD13 ($34.5); while guests under 1.2 mt pay only BD5 ($13.20). Boys 10 years old and under are also welcome. – TradeArabia News Service
