Global Village, a member of Tatweer has begun accepting applications for the country and regional pavilions, restaurants, kiosks and retail outlets for the 14th edition of the annual seasonal event.

The region’s premier cultural, entertainment and shopping destination, Global Village will open on November 22.

Registration for pavilions will close on June 30, while the registration for kiosks and restaurants at the Global Village will close on August 31, said a GV official.

In its earlier editions, Global Village has successfully hosted pavilions representing more than 40 countries.

In the upcoming event, Global Village plans to attract interest and participation from a number of new countries including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, S.Africa, Malaysia, Japan, Australia, Canada, Italy, France, Germany, Poland, Scandinavia and Spain.

Abdul Redha Ali Bin Redha, project director, Global Village, said: 'We constantly strive to cater to the needs and expectations of our visitors from throughout the GCC, Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe.'
