Kempinski Ajman completes refurbishment work
Ajman, January 20, 2009
Kempinski Hotel Ajman has completed the third phase of a major renovation programme and unveiled its finest accomplishment to date - the complete refurbishment of the hotel’s lobby.
“The response from our guests has been extremely complimentary; the rich colors, lush trimmings and level of comfort has enhanced the hotel’s ‘first impression’,” said managing director of the Kempinski Hotel Ajman Ulrich Eckhardt.
“The entire atmosphere of the lobby now reflects true Kempinski style, that of elegance and comfort.”
The spacious lobby has luxurious seating and relaxation areas furnished with rich mahogany furniture, silk curtains and specially designed moorish lamps, encompassing a lavish VIP Majlis and Lobby Lounge serving French pastries and a selection of dates along with tea and coffee specialties.
The redecoration was undertaken by architectural consultants Leo Design who have worked on many signature hotel projects in the UAE.
In keeping with the colour schemes and style of 2007’s renovations, the emphasis was on enhancing the exquisite Middle Eastern charm of the hotel, and the timeless elegance and luxury that have always been associated with Kempinski.
In response to the ever-evolving needs of the market, the hotel’s refurbishment programme aims to provide more modern and luxurious surroundings for its guests.
“As the region has increased in popularity, and the standard of luxury and leisure travel has expanded, we took the opportunity to renovate the hotel in response to our guests expectations and travel needs,” added Eckhardt.
Further improvements to the public areas are expected to occur during 2009, completing the refreshment exercise and securing the resorts position within Kempinski’s luxurious collection of hotels in the UAE. – TradeArabia News Service
