Gulf Air organises charity drive

Manama, December 15, 2008

National carrier Gulf Air, as part of its recently launched Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, organised a charity drive yesterday.

In a simple function held at the Gulf Air Muharraq headquarters, tens of boxes containing day-to-day utility items such as household utensils, stationary, blankets, clothes, etc., were presented to a group of charity organisations working with local communities in Bahrain.

The organisations which received the donations included the  Bahrain Red Crescent Society, Helping Hands, Bahrain Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, The Charity and Assistance Association of Parents, The Palm Association, The Hope Institute for the Handicapped, Ahli al Dar Charity Organisation and
