Back to school for Rosewood Corniche butlers

Rosewood Corniche has teamed up with the International Institute of Modern Butlers to further enhance the Jeddah luxury hotel’s butler team.
Steven Ferry, founder and chairman of the International Institute of Modern Butlers, and his colleague Budi Prihardjanto, Far East director of the company, will conduct the butler training for the Rosewood Corniche butler team until mid-November 2008.
The training revolves around a series of lessons in the hotel suites and the classroom, in which Ferry and Prihardjanto provide role playing scenarios and hands-on coaching for Rosewood Corniche’s team of butlers.
“We are excited to work with the International Institute of Modern Butlers and elevate our Butler service to new heights,” said Hans-Peter Leitzke, MD of Rosewood Corniche.

Steven Ferry is a founding member of the International Guild of Traditional Butlers and the International Institute of Modern Butlers, Ferry is seen as a world-wide authority on butlering, and has authored 20 books and hundreds of articles for numerous publications.
