Dubai-based Arabtec Holding is the front runner to win a Dh1.5-billion ($408.4 million) contract to build a resort in Abu Dhabi, a report said.

Arabtec is the largest United Arab Emirates construction firm by market value.

Abu Dhabi Tourism Development and Investment Company is awarding the contract to build a hotel, seven residential buildings, villas and sports facilities on Saadiyat island, the London-based weekly Meed reported, without citing anyone.-Reuters
