Gulf Air leases five aircraft

Gulf Air has signed a lease agreement for five aircraft with International Lease Finance Corporation (ILFC) as part of the airline’s growth and expansion strategy.

The lease is for six years for two Airbus A319-100 and three Airbus A330-200.

Gulf Air chief executive officer Bjorn Naf and ILFC senior vice-president Alex A Khatibi signed the agreement at the airline’s headquarters in Muharraq.

The A319-100s are scheduled for delivery this month and next month, while the A330-200s will be delivered in March, April and May.

The aircraft will be used throughout Gulf Air’s network to support its ongoing growth and expansion strategy. - TradeArabia News Service
