Housed at the Airport Expo Dubai, Mfc is open to all between 10am to 10pm from Saturday to Wednesday fro an entry fee of Dh20 ($5.44) per person. On Thursdays and Fridays, the venue remains open until 12 midnight.
 
Malah Mohammed, a grade 1 student at Abu Dhabi International School said, “Modhesh is my friend. When I go back to school I want him with me on all my school things. When I see his smile, I feel like smiling too. Last year we bought some books and pencil cases. This time I’m taking a beach ball and a blanket for my bed.”

Among the keen shoppers were Ahmad Ali Shata Ali Al Badawi (7), his brother Saood (5) and their friend, Maroun Khalid Ishaq Hassan Zaiydaani (4); the boys were quick to pick their favourite buys.

“Each year we have competitions with our friends about the number of times we have visited MFC and the many types of Modhesh toys we have bought! When we go back to school we share our gifts and exchange the items as souvenirs. We save up on our pocket money so that we can enjoy here during the summer,” they said.
 
Sheikha Al Tindi, one of the sales representatives volunteering at the shop said, “Working at the Modhesh merchandise stall keeps you on your toes all the time. Children and adults both like to pick items from here not just because its great value for money but also because they make wonderful gifts for all."

Nehad Moosa, the sales supervisor agreed, “Indeed, there is no doubt that the fan following of Modhesh just keeps growing year after year. I’ve been working with MFC for three years now and it gives me great pleasure to note that there has never been a low day of activity here."

"Children love to pick the soft toy Modhesh. Costing Dh35 ($9.52) per piece, this item is their all time favourite. Apart from this we have noted that the little ones like to pick the soft cushions that we recently introduced," Moora added.
