Kuwait National Airways, the country’s newest airline, will commence operations in January 2009.

The airline will provide a premium service with point to point connections from Kuwait to destinations across the Middle East, geared to the specific demands and needs of Kuwaiti nationals, a statement said.

It will fly modern A320 aircraft with 26 Business Class seats and 96 Economy seats.

Kuwait National Airlines, also known as Wataniya Airways, was established in 2005 by prominent Kuwaiti corporations including Kuwait Projects Company and Global Investment House.

It is the third international carrier in Kuwait, following Kuwait Airways Corporation and Jazeera Airways. - TradeArabia News Service
