Silverjet, the British airline, is offering special fares starting from Dh 7500 ($2,042) to winter travellers on route from Dubai to London or New York.

The promotional return fares are on Silverjet’s business class flights if purchased by December 20 and used by January 31, 2008, the airline said.

Silverjet’s winter offer includes a luggage allowance of 96kg per person, enabling passengers to easily carry gifts and shopping purchases acquired during their winter holiday.

“The Silverjet experience makes travelling from Dubai to London or New York a great experience all year round, by offering these special fares we hope to welcome more travellers taking to the skies this winter,” said Lawrence Hunt, founder and CEO of Silverjet.

Promotional fares, which are available to passengers completing all travel before January 31, 2008, will be sold until December 20, 2007 and are subject to availability and non-refundable, the airline said in a statement.

And, for those wishing to travel from December 26 to April 30, 2008, Silverjet is offering limited edition ‘Links of London’ sterling silver tickets, which come in presentation boxes.

The multi award-winning airline is the only scheduled airline in the world to offer a private terminal experience at both ends of its service and is the only commercial carrier to use the private executive terminal at Dubai International Airport.

Silverjet – which began its operations on January 25, 2007 and aims to offer its customers a private jet style experience - already offers a twice-daily service between London Luton Airport and New York Newark Airport.
Silverjet flights depart Dubai daily at 1030 and arrive in London at 1445. Return flights depart from London at 2100 and arrive in Dubai at 0830.—TradeArabia News Service
