Gulf Air gets another Boeing 737-800
Manama, November 12, 2007
Gulf Air’s flight operations have received a further boost with the introduction of a second new narrow-body aircraft.
The new Boeing 737-800 will further enhance the airline’s capacity to cope with its winter needs, says Gulf Air Acting President and Chief Executive Björn Näf.
“The seamless addition of these aircraft is part of our strategy to boost operations out of our Bahrain hub and our alignment programme to prepare for future growth,” says Näf.
The first 737-800 leased aircraft arrived last month.
“We aim to be the airline of choice and these additions will further boost the operational efficiency of Bahrain’s flag carrier and in return strengthen the product for our customers.” – TradeArabia News Service
