Henning A Fries has been appointed as the general manager for The Monarch Dubai and regional director UAE for Refad Hotels & Resorts.

Fries brings a wealth of international experience to the position, including time at one of London's most prestigious five star hotels, The Churchill, said a Monarch official.

'We have a vision of becoming Dubai's most distinguished luxurious hotel and we will differentiate ourselves by the quality of our personal service,' Fries said.

Fries was awarded the prestigious F&B Operation of the Year Award by Mandarin Oriental for customer service, innovation and concept implementation while being the director of food and beverage at one of their key properties in Asia.

Prior to his appointment at The Monarch Dubai, he was advising private investors and developers on a variety of different projects, in Europe, the Middle East and Asia. These included city centre hotels, resort properties, as well as restaurant and private member clubs.- TradeArabia News Service
